VOTE: Choose My 2018 Winter Destination

Guys, I’ve decided to put my travel faith in your hands. I want you to vote for my 2018 winter destination.
I’ve already sort of planned out what I’m doing for the rest of 2017 (well, I thought about it at least…) but I want to go even further and plan for January or February 2018. I do not want to experience too much of the Scandinavian winter, so I want to go somewhere nice and warm where I can relax with a cocktail in one hand and my Kindle in the other. And of course I want a bit of adventure, too.

Vote right here.

So, I’m letting my readers decide where I should travel to as my 2018 winter destination. I have already added some destinations to ensure that you’re not sending me off to some war-torn countries or things like that.
Many of these destinations have never been high on my list, but not for any particular reason, so I thought I’d just give them a try. I have already been to Thailand in July last year, but it’s a country that can be visited over and over again, so if I end up there I wouldn’t complain.

These are the destinations you can choose from:

  • Florida, USA
  • Sri Lanka
  • Costa Rica
  • Bali
  • Thailand
  • Nicaragua
  • Gran Canaria

Or you can add a suggestion.

But, I want my 2018 winter destination to be completely up to you. I’m not gonna try to persuade you to choose a certain destination, because honestly, I don’t mind where I end up. As long as there’s no snow!

So, get voting, peeps. Be in charge and decide where I get to spend the first part of the new year. Exciting!

  1. I have been to all spots save Gran Canaria, Zascha. You cannot go wrong. We were just offered a house sit in Thailand – same house sit we did last winter – a few minutes ago, for this upcoming winter. Thailand and Bali are my faves, and I’d always suggest Costa Rica and Nicaragua too….and yes I loved Lanka as well LOL. Decisions, decisions! At the end of the day, if you want to pick 1 spot, going to Bali may be a magical experience for you. Especially if you spend time in the rice fields around Ubud.
